No cookies, no account, no record of the salaries you enter: here is exactly what happens when you use the calculator.
Who is responsible
SalaryAfter is published by Radif Partners. Questions about this page can be sent to hello@salaryafter.com.
Your salary figures stay on your device
The salary, pay type, state, filing status, 401(k) contribution and pre-tax health premium you enter into the calculator are processed by the page itself, inside your browser. They are never sent to a server, never logged and never saved on your device: close the tab and they are gone. There is no account, no newsletter and no contact form, so Radif Partners holds no personal data about the people who use the site.
Cookies
SalaryAfter sets no cookies at all, and neither does any service its pages load: no analytics cookie, no advertising cookie, no social media pixel. As there is nothing to accept or decline, the site shows no cookie banner.
Anonymous stability monitoring
To catch broken pages, slow loads and buttons that do nothing, we run Microsoft Clarity in its cookieless mode. It reports technical signals only: script errors, load times, clicks that have no effect and how far a page is scrolled.
In this mode Clarity sets none of its cookies (_clck, _clsk, MUID or CLID). Each page view gets a one-time identifier, so two visits cannot be linked to each other or to you. The text on the page and every figure typed into the calculator are masked in your browser before anything is sent.
The service is operated by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Page-view recordings are kept for 30 days and aggregated statistics for 13 months. The basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the calculator working (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, which applies because the publisher is established in the European Union).
To opt out, block the clarity.ms domain in your browser or content blocker; the calculator works exactly the same. You can also write to hello@salaryafter.com.
Hosting
Pages are served by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.), whose servers keep technical logs such as IP address, time and page requested in order to protect the service. The publisher has no access to them. Fonts are served from salaryafter.com itself.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete personal data concerning you, or object to its use, by writing to hello@salaryafter.com; we reply within one month. Since the site stores nothing about its visitors, such a request will in practice concern only an email you have sent us. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Federal Trade Commission (reportfraud.ftc.gov) or your state attorney general, or, as the publisher is based in France, to the CNIL (cnil.fr).
